Classic Multi-Pitch Rock
Climbs - Ever wished and dreamt
of ascending some of them? Classic climbs within the splendour
of the Lake District National park, the home and birthplace of
British rock climbing. Experience exhilarating towering
buttresses and some of the crags first ascended by the pioneers of
rock climbing during the nineteenth century and the 'Golden Era'.
Saturday will be
big routes on the high fells, such as 'Arrowhead Ridge Direct'
(V. Diff) on Great Gable, and 'Cook's Tour' (V. Diff) in Great
Langdale. Some of these routes have a walk in of up to an
hour and a half, but this through some fantastic scenery.
Sunday will be a return
to Great Langdale for one or two fantastic classic multi-pitch
routes.
All of the climbs are aimed towards the
multi-pitch beginner with specific routes being decided upon
dependant on your experience and your choice.
