Summit all of England's 3000' Mountains,
all within the stunning vistas of the Lake District National Park.
These awesome, yet highly contrasting, peaks offer the hill-walker a
holiday of varied exhilaration.

Friday - After your
journey to the Lakes we will meet, late morning, in the Lakeland
town of Keswick below the first of our giants.
The first of the 3000's, the towering 3054' gentle looking giant of
slate, Skiddaw (931m). Panoramic views of the whole of the
northern fells and southern Scotland. |

Saturday - The very heart of the Lake District's central mountain range,
Scafell Pike, 3209' (977m), England's highest peak is today's major high fell.
The ascent will be from Seathwaite in Borrowdale with
the chance to take in a number of other peaks during the day. |

Sunday -
A fantastic finale to the long weekend.
The picturesque village of Glenridding is the start for today's
3000' massif. Helvellyn,3117' (950m), the highest in a chain of
mountains running from the central Lakes to the north ending
just south of the high ridges of Blencathra. Included in
the ascent, weather dependant, will be the famous ridge Striding
Edge. |
