Summit Journeys - Adventurous Experiences in the Lake District

GUIDED MOUNTAIN WALKING, ROCK CLIMBING, IN THE LAKE DISTRICT WITH SUMMIT JOURNEYS

About Us

Summit Journeys is a vibrant and exciting outdoor adventure company who, having experienced the wonderful opportunities of the outdoor environment, wish to share this excitement and exhilaration and provide you with a fantastic opportunity and experience that you will remember for a long time after.

This experience might involve trekking across the high rugged fells of the Lake District, taking in the splendour of the majestic mountains and the tranquil lakes, feeling the thrill and adrenaline of climbing rocky crags and buttresses.  Or it may be experiencing the wonders of wilderness camping, watching the sun set over the mountains from your tent doorway, camped high on a fell-side.   Summit Journeys aims to provide you with an experience not to be missed - 'Making Adventure Reality'.

All our courses are based on your requirements and range from introductions for the novice to  challenging for the more experienced, dependent on your wishes, and are designed to be as enjoyable and fulfilling as you can handle.

Chris Boughay is an experienced mountain walker and rock climber, being familiar with and having enjoyed the hills and mountains of the UK for many years. As a qualified Mountain Leader and rock climber Chris aims to ensure that safety and enjoyment are the prime factors in the planning of any outings, enabling you to chill-out and enjoy the Lake District to the full, providing you with a rewarding and fulfilling experience.
